HealthComp dental insurance helps lower the cost of both preventive and restorative care. Coverage depends on your employer's specific plan but here's what most members can expect from the insurance plan:

  • Preventive Services: Exams, cleanings, digital X-rays, fluoride treatments, and sealants are usually covered at 100%. Staying on top of these visits helps catch problems early. 

  • Basic Restorative Care: Tooth-colored fillings, simple extractions and gum treatments like scaling and root planing are typically covered at 70%–80%. 

  • Major Care: Crowns, bridges, dentures, and root canals are usually covered around 50%, which takes some of the sting out of bigger procedures. 

  • Orthodontic Services: Some HealthComp plans cover braces or clear aligners too. How much is covered, and the lifetime maximum, depends on your policy.
